وصف المادة
تهدف المادة إلى المساهمة في تشكيل الوعي الثقافي الوطني للطلبة على نحو حواري تفاعلي، وإبراز دور الفكر الوطني في سياق المتغيرات الإقليمية والدولية وفي مواجهة التطرف. كما تسعى المادة إلى تعزيز القيم الوطنية وإبراز المنجزات الأردنية في النواحي المختلفة. وتناقش هذه المادة جملة من المحاور المعرفية المشكلة للثقافة الوطنية والهوية الأردنية، وتشمل: تاريخ المملكة الأردنية الهاشمية، وجغرافيتها، وخصائص السكان وبنية المجتمع الأردني، والحياة السياسية في الأردن، والاقتصاد الأردني، والأمن الوطني، والحركة الثقافية الأردنية.

This course aims to participate in creating national awareness for the student in an active-dialogue environment, and clarify the role of Jordan in an unstable region. The course will also focus on national values Jordanian achievements in different fields. Additionally, this course discusses various issues which contribute to the national identity such as the Hashemite Kingdom in Jordan’s history, geopolitics and the basics of the Jordanian society, with a particular focus on the politics, economy, security and cultural movements of the country.
